Patient Education Workshop, on Saturday, 4 November, organized by the Rheumatology units of Hospital Putrajaya and Hospital Serdang, for their patients and carers at the Glass Suite, Marina Putrajaya. The objective of the Workshop is to increase awareness as well as to educate patients and their carers on symptoms, non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatment available for arthritic conditions including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Gout, Osteoarthritis and Ankylosing Spondylitis. This Workshop is in conjunction with World Arthritis Day, celebrated globally on 12 October each year. Target participants was 100 participants. Dr Benjamin Cheah, President of Arthritis Foundation Malaysia gave the Opening remarks.
